I understand why The Doctor runs. Sometimes you just need to keep running, stay busy and hope whatever it is never catches up with you. Because if you stop for one second and it takes over. The waves come crushing down and you are swept away into a torrent that is so much harder to climb out of. But there are days when you are so tired of running and all you want to do is stop and let it go. However, fear and dread drives you on. You can’t risk looking back. So you keep putting one foot in front of the other, hoping one day they will lead you somewhere you can be free.
